The best camera is the one you have with you, right? And if you are like me (even though I love my Nikon D7000), that's normally a phone. Here are some of my favorite tools for snapping and editing some great iPhone shots:
Afterlight is by far my favorite editing tool. The app is chock full of options to enhance my photos—40 fully adjustable filters, 66 textures, and 75 frames, as well as cropping and transformation options like brightness, temperature, and saturation.
Afterlight has a simple interface, so even with all those choices, I can edit my photos quickly and easily (perfect since I'm not a fan of the latergram!) .
Totally worth the 99 cents!
I use the Photojojo iPhone and Android Lens Series to give my iPhone lens a little extra oomph.
The telephoto lens adds zoom power; the wide Angle/macro Lens works to expand your view or capture close-up detail; and the fisheye wraps your photo into a hemispherical image (it's as if your phone blew a bubble and your photo popped out!).
I totally wouldn't be against Photojojo making a carry case for these little gems ....just saying.
Both apps offer a range of fonts that you can resize, align and position.
Got any iPhoneography tools or tips to share? I'd love to hear them!
